Last Saturday during the game I got a call from my doctor regarding biopsy results. When a doc calls on a weekend, it is rarely good and this was no exception and cancer was confirmed. Tests tomorrow will determine metastases. So I am sitting there contemplating my new future and the Tigers are having a terrible time on the field. It looked really hopeless there at the end, and in my amped up emotional state it really was painful. Then wide frickin' right!!! and the rest is history.
Right now cancer has the ball on 30 and I am hoping for a wide right come tomorrow, or better maybe a brutal block, with a flattening of the kicker.

I took a few too many Aleve (nsaids) over a few weeks due

to an injury. It lit up my gut so they did an endoscope for a suspected ulcer or gastritis. They found the gastritis, and a smallish tumor called GIST. No symptoms other than those generated by the pain pills. They never would have found it had it not been for that injury.

an appendectomy prior to rupture.
Cancer is contained and can be 100% removed via surgery. No drugs, no chemo. Still gonna get a big ol' Marley though.
