Thanks. I'm still trying to find the tournament in Florida that will baker is in some time this week.
Savannah Grewal has made it in the US women am. She was 1st alternate and now it's official. She's in. 3 Tigers qualified. Annabelle, Isabella and now Savannah. That's Clemson skrong... go Tigers.

Good deal. Even better. Thanks. Great find on that golfstats statement. I wonder if it's just to open competition or what. Maybe @tigerlinks or @schema would know more about it. I like their scoring and stats.
I'd forgotten about it being JB's home. Think it's quite a few that have homes there. For some reason I thought a PGA tournament was played there. We tried to get on there a few years back but we couldn't.

Isabella Rawl shot 3 Under on her closing 9 Holes to end up @ Even Par and in a Tie for 15th Place . . .
Chloe Holder battled to a +1 finish , which has put her into a current T-19th Place as a few finish their rounds . . .
Katherine Schuster and Sydney Roberts struggled, but battled well . . . Their Tee Times for tomorrow are listed in the attachment.
Impressive First Round by Our Gals . . . each will be counted on at some time next season . . . valuable experience and lessons are being learned this week @ Sea Island!!!
*** Helluva Round by Kentucky native and UK Junior, Laney Frye (attachment), shooting 9 Under Par with 7 birdies and an eagle!!! That’s a 61 in case anyone is counting!!! ***

Definitely have to tip your cap to Laney. All likelihood it's the course record for ladies, ametuer or pro. -9 on a course that only has 2 par 5's. Strong.
Kat had some birdies but couldn't stay away from the bogeys. Not like she or Syd had a couple
really bad holes. Feels like Syd has been with the team for awhile but she's just a rising sophomore. Isabella, rising sophomore too. Good stuff.

you HAVE TO BE excited about next Season’s Women’s Golf Lineup . . . with Savannah, Annabelle, Melena, Chloe and Isabella as the nucleus, I’d put them up against anyone’s Top 5!!!
These gals don’t give in to pressure and haven’t a clue what giving up means . . . They battle. PERIOD.

Still haven't found will baker in any of the tournaments but surely Jackson Byrd is coming to Clemson, right? Anyway, he's -4 after a 69 today. Shot 71 yesterday. Sorry about not posting but here's the link for tomorrow.

He’s in the Class of 2025 . . . He’s got to be a pivotal piece of Our Recruiting efforts for that year . . . but nothing yet has been said.
Here’s a funny clip from an article last year when Jackson was playing with Davis Love III at Sea Island:
“We were waiting for the group to clear the green so I gunned it and he had 214 yards left,” said Love, who was freakishly long in his day and can still send it. “I got out a 4-iron to hit one from there. He lifted this high-arching iron on the green and I asked him, ‘What club did you hit?’ He said, ‘7-iron, but it’s downwind.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, it’s downwind for me too.’” Love laughed. “We’re high on him,” he said. “Jackson’s the real deal.”
He’s going to be a MONSTER GET . . . IF he doesn’t pull an Akshay and go straight to the Pros . . . I would think Dad would steer him to college.

I saw that 61 and immediately “hoped” that the tournament was match play after the first two rounds. Anything can happen in two more rounds, but I would like my chances with a 61 in the books.

the 2 Qualifying Stroke Play Rounds is my understanding.
There is a 14 for 7 Spot Playoff tomorrow morning . . . after which the Martch Play Pairings and Tee Times will be set and released.
BTW - the Golf Channel will have some coverage of the Semifinal Matches on Friday from 2-4pm (EDT)
