Why would Brownell wanna

Stay. He has to know that a majority of the fan base wants a new coach. What does he think he can do with who he has now to make a better run next year. Seems money aside he should have looked for another opportunity coaching somewhere else. If he tanks next year its gonna be even worse for his coaching career moving forward. If he wants another head gig a a decent school he should have bounced. I could be totally wrong though.

maybe it is the vocal minority. i imagine it is the same group that wanted danny gone till he beat the coots in 80 or the same group that wanted dabo gone after yeqr five with the coots. probably those people.

I see fan support for Brad is here on TNet. I have yet to talk to another fan in person that believes he should still be here. Heck, even my friends that are fans of other schools don't understand why he's still here.

The majority i would speak of goes to the Clemson fans and alumni that I interact with outside of tnet who wanna a new coach and afyer reading all the comments other social media that wanted him gone as well. I could be wrong but if you extrapolate those people it would lead to a pretty consist consensus that nobody wanted Brownell to return after the season and expectations that were there to start the season. Hopefully that suffices for you.

What kind of job could he get when he's close to being

fired at Clemson? If he leaves he: 1) can't collect his buyout, 2) would be taking a lesser job, and 3) he would almost certainly be taking a salary cut.

Not to mention that he probably has some pride and still thinks he can win at Clemson.

This is the hope that a job would open up that Brad would feel comfortable with. If not UNCW or Miami(OH). Something in CONF USA. Heard East Carolina might be dropping their coach.
