Tennessee knew GT would be running all night, but couldn't stop them. GT basically did whatever they wanted running the ball. So why not go ahead and try to win the game then instead of putting their defense back on the field who had major issues slowing TN down in the 4th and OT? Plus option offenses gamble more than typical teams by running the ball in short yardage situation.

2 point conversions succeed only 40% of the time. GT had the momentum if they went into OT. Paul Johnson is an idiot.
