He had claimed that SEC is just not like any other conference. (He was saying it is far superior!)
So happy to seem them lose all these games. Please let us not join SEC, I will take the Big 10!

Any conference that would have the coots is not one I would want to join….

I hate the SUC, but it makes no sense geographically to join the B1G. We also have no rivals there.
The SUC is the better choice of the 2 in my opinion.

at a severe disadvantage in football. All you have to do is go watch the bowl game where the coots played UCONN in Shreveport maybe. The coots even had Spurrier I think. Anyway, a cold front came through and it was 29 degrees. The UCONN guys were on their sideline with NO jackets and the coots...well, there was a play where the coots had a 3rd and 2..they came up a yard short and the whole offense sprinted to the sideline to get their coats...and the coot coaches had to yell at them to go back on the field, they were going for it. The coots got whacked that day. I'm convinced the weather played a big part. Let our guys go to Ann Arbor, Madison, College Station...in late November.....We can't afford to lose but maybe 2 games.....

That depends on who else the B1G might take. If they really are moving toward super-duper conferences, then if, say, UVA, UNC, Clemson, & FSU or Ga Tech all went B1G, then along with Maryland, we'd have some semblance of the ACC, with existing rivalries intact or resumed.
And anyway, most of the SEC is pretty dang far away, too, except for SC, GA, TN, & Auburn
