can put on a tripod and point at my backyard feeder and also throw in my pack for a day hike, I’ve always wanted one.

BTW, interesting that the same birds you have here are also at my feeder in the upstate. Those goldfinches are striking when they turn gold.

We've been seeing lots black capped chickadees and the tufted titmouse (lol). Also got some woodpeckers, blue jays, and cardinals.
