Florence (S.C.) South Florence four-star DL Amare Adams, the No. 1 prospect in the state of South Carolina for 2025, named his Top 7 schools on Tuesday with the Gamecocks, not surprisingly, making the cut.
The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Adams lists his top seven as: South Carolina, Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Florida State, and Tennessee.
Read this quote from him:
“I have visited South Carolina more than 10 times already,” Adams told On3’s Chad Simmons last month. “Coach Travian Robertson is the new defensive line coach and I like him. He keeps it real. He is going to tell me what is right and what is wrong. I like that about him. What stands out to me about South Carolina is the family culture is a lot like Clemson. It is a big family up there. I feel like part of the family up there too. I really like coach Shane Beamer‘s personality. He has a great personality, and as a coach, I think he would be great to play for.”
How in God's name do ANY of these kids think or see that the coots have ANY kind of "family culture" let alone put it in the same sentence with our culture.... Blasphemy. What kind of crackpot are they giving these recruits to smoke? I do not get it.

Beamer was hired in large part because he has many of the same traits as Dabo. He has a little Awe shucks, golly Gomer Pyle in him, so not surprising that he trying to create a family culture. Though it is much larger challenge to pull off in Cola.

Beamer straight up copied and pasted what Dabo did here. Unfortunately it’s working on recruits right now. It makes be vomit to hear them in with some big time recruits. I still for the life of me can’t understand what an elite level recruit would want to do with them? Their school is in a dump of a city and they have literally zero history. NIL is the only think I can think of that might be working for them.

We also gifted them with a win last season in Death Valley. Beamer will use that to his advantage as long as possible.
