We never should be relegated to playing a Thursday or Friday night game, unless it is something, for a very specific reason to us, is significant (like us celebrating some milestone event for the University). I'm hoping this current commissioner can fix some of the mess John Swofford made of our once great conference.

The SEC is going to push more and more ACC contests to Thursday/Friday. ESPN gets to fill up their Saturday with more SEC games, but claim the ACC is still getting access to national broadcasts on their primary channels. It’s the road to G5+ conference status. Not as bad as MAC games on Wednesdays, but more time spent at the kids table so to speak.

on Thurs/Fri to keep us from bolting the ACC. At least I hope that would be the case. I’m honestly kind of amazed how many schools have multiple Thurs/Fri matchups! Anything to get on TV for those desperate programs, I guess. Thank God Clemson draws a crowd (in person and on TV) for their games! I hope the ACC “appeases” us every year! Happy to have all Sat. games this year. Let’s make it a “tradition” to only have Sat. games like Va Tech has a Thurs tradition! How do we get that petition rolling?
