In June I went in for a routine stress test. BP spiked to about 230/135.
My primary care physician and cardiologist did a great job getting BP under control through changes in medication. But, side effect was I would get lightheated or dizzy when standing up or even walking for a few minutes.
Cardiologist called for my pacemaker to be tweaked.
Base rate moved from 60 to 70. But, the biggest difference is it was also adjusted to be "rate responsive."
Results: No side effects. Things are back to normal. Walking again. No dizziness.
