TCU was 5-7 last year. Just about every other team that was in play to make the playoffs this year was a team with strong resumes over the last few years ( Tennessee being an exception).

I’m glad TCU is moving on to the championship. They are a team that the pundits will pat on the head briefly to say thanks for giving us something new to talk about but please don’t think you can join our elitist club of blue blood schools.

TCU’s team of 2022 is somewhat similar to the ‘one trick wonders’ of Ed Orgeron’s LSU and Gene Chizik national championship teams.

By that, I mean heavily dependent upon transfers.

TCU is losing quite a few of this year’s 18 transfers on this year’s roster.
