Reading the post about coots or ugay yearly, which team

gives you the most regret throughout our history? Ugay might be at the top of the list for me. Gtech is right up there as well - out of 82 games we’ve won 30! How is that even possible?

We can only beat ourselves.
Hot #2 is GT.

It starts with the fact that we played Georgia Tech in Atlanta for every game until 1983 (with one exception in 1974 which we won). After 1977, Georgia Tech refused to play us until they joined the ACC because we insisted on home-and-home games. We have an edge in the series since we started alternating games between Clemson and Atlanta.

So, if we played GT in Atlanta every year now, would we

dominate? I say yes. Which means it’s disappointing to have a bad losing record against them no matter the location of the games. To lose to them 50 times and lose to the coots 40 something times is shocking. Two very mediocre football schools

GT won a national championship in 1990

They've won 4 national titles in their program's history. Their all-time winning percentage is just under .600.
You can't put them in the same category as USuCk.

And a little more perspective on coots vs GT
GT has 728 wins alltime. coots have 602 wins in 126 seasons. For the coots that means they’ve averaged 4.77 wins per season alltime. Since the coots have 126 wins LESS than GT, if they continue at their present historically blistering pace, they will match GT’s 728 wins in 26 and half seasons. So yeh, they’re the same. We’ll review this again in 2044, if GT goes on a 26 year losing streak.

Paul Johnson hasn't always been their coach. They used to run a real offense.

Most of those losses came when GaTech was in the SEC and we actually played them for money. In the early 60's we had 6 ACC games and 4 out-of -conference games. We were the SEC teams homecoming game. We also played USC (the real one) and Oklahoma. Regular games against GaTech Alabama Auburn. Georgia some and TCU. Remember 2 Furman games.
