My first post but been reading tigernet for a few years and decided to get in on the action. Taking nothing from Louisville but without the turnovers the game would never went to the last possession. Your thoughts?

Agreed, when you can beat a team like Louisville while committing 5 turnovers you are a pretty good team.
Take 2 of the 5 turnovers away and we win by 3 scores.
Make no mistake, this was a #### good football team we beat.

other than that they were AWESOME which is why Louisville had so much TOP. We were ripping off big plays and scoring quickly. You can't have it both ways. Explosive, efficient, big play offenses don't typically rack up high TOP. And that's perfectly fine. TOP isn't really a relevant offensive stat. Sure a low TOP can effect your defense, but it's absolutely not an indicator of offensive success.

Louisville turnovers weren't as critical to the game outcome...i.e. redzone and endzone turnovers.
