I don't think NewSpring is quite as large as the Roman Catholic Church!
Notre Dame has a 20 billion dollar endowment. Clemson just passed 1 billion dollar endowment.
That alone should give you an idea.

....in the country. Most of their fans didn't even attend ND. They get like 90% of Irish Catholics to root for them because of the Catholic thing. Yankees who know very little about college football revere ND.
Clemson's fan base is small by comparison, so I doubt it. Clemson has had the better program over the last 25+ years, and we're nationally relevant, but ND still has the larger fan base. They still draw a ton of interest, so it sounds like a pipe-dream.

There is nobody close to their national football brand. It's unreal how a school of their small size is so influential in the world of college football, regardless of how successful the product is on the field.
Another thing is the connectivity of their alumni is truly unmatched. You have to actually know some of them to learn about this stuff.

Ive got orange colored glasses and drink the orange koolaid, but notre dame has a national following. You can’t compare it to any other college.
There is no way we would get a better independent tv deal - zero chance
