At least I’m not worried about our country going through a revolution. I’m not gonna sit here and defend Biden. Only point I will make is Covid caused governments all over the world to have miscalculations. It’s not just America that is experiencing inflation. However, the last stimulus bill approved by Biden and the better bill back building thankfully was stalled and was inexcusable.
But in my mind all these issues are small potatoes compared to our country going through a revolution. We are the strongest wealthiest country in the world. Are thingsso bad that you Trump loyalist nut jobs are willing to overthrow the government like what happened on January 6? If you wanna make the argument that Trump‘s policies have serve the country better than Biden’s, I certainly can’t disagree with that. But that minutia just doesn’t have that much of an impact on my life. What does have an impact on my life is our government going through a revolution. I’m pretty #### happy with my income etc. at this point. I just don’t want things radically change the revolution. Maybe I don’t get how miserable some of you people are out there that you’re willing for the country to go through chaos. That I just don’t understand.
I knew we have become somewhat divided, but geez, some people just need to go there and throw down the gauntlet. If people are this stirred up, I’m thinking maybe we need to actually have it out and get this family squabble over with once and for all.
to a clown like that whooping it up blah blah blah. Sounds like a real A$$. All that yacking turns me off organized religion. That cat is probably a hypocritical heathen.
Re: Clearly Biden has failed / do some Jan. 6 research
May 22, 2022, 11:14 PM
Had you bothered to do any research about January 6? From reading your post, it doesn't seem so.
The Federal Gov't's estimates of protesters on January 6 who entered the Capitol Buidling were ~1200. The Fed. Gov't admits that many of these protesters had simply 'walked in' ... no violence implied. ~ 700 protesters were arrested (they "forced their way in"), but were not necessarily violent upon entering. They had also estimated that ~ 10% of those were organized. The Fed. Gov't is silent about the number of protesters which were Antifa 'plants' which were raising He77 as a means of further discrediting the Jan. 6th'ers.
According to Insider Magazine, there had been approx. 837 arrests as of May 19.
Fed. Gov't has a wide range of estimates for the total number of Jan. 6 protesters. Those estimates of protesters (according to Newsweek, FWIW) were in the ~ 120,000 range.
Let's help you with the math. 837 arrests (16+ months after January 6) based on 120,000 actual protesters is < 1%.
No, the "revolution" was being attempted by the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys inside the riot...which they were using for cover.
I'll agree most of the folks there were just useful idiots who got carried away. That's actually probably true of what happened at the Bastille or the Beer Hall Putsch or a thousand other would-be revolutions.
But these guys knew exactly what they were about...and what they were trying to do. Which is why their leaders are on trial for seditious conspiracy.
Constant revisionism does not change the minds of anybody with eyes no matter how you MAGA's spin it. Not that you'll ever stop trying.
"I’m pretty #### happy with my income etc. at this point. Maybe I don’t get how miserable some of you people are out there that you’re willing for the country to go through chaos. That I just don’t understand."
Glad you're all comfy-cozy there, bro. Meanwhile, peeps like me who hoped to be about a decade from retirement are watching their life savings go down faster than a crackwh#re on a section 8 Saturday night. When rules are for plebes and government self-serving, perhaps revolution is in order.
Biden has not failed, democrats as a whole have failed!! Biden is just the lead failure. People need to understand that replacing democrats with more democrats will mean more of the same. Wake up America.
I’ve voted Republican my entire life and will vote Republican again in the next presidential election as long as the candidate is not Trump.
Trump is the most radical dangerous president in my lifetime. He still can’t admit he lost the election, and he’s come up with no evidence. He’s the reason January 6 happened. Yes I know that wasn't even close to the full-scale revolution, but the fact that Trump is still around after that makes me realize there’s some angry people in this country to still support him.
I’m much more interested in peace then policies. I’m hoping by some miracle another Republican candidate emerges they can win the election.
I want peace as well but I want real peace. I want respect of each other , respect for our laws and institutions, respect for the elderly and the unborn ,respect for free speech, respect for my right to protect myself and my property, and respect for my right to practice my religion freely. Bring that kind of peace and I’m all in. Now how do we get there?
Stop labeling the "other side" with a bunch of names and treating them like they're your enemy or an enemy of America, and start realizing they're fellow Americans with different opinions and viewpoints.
However, who is the other side? If the other side is people he|| bent on teaching 3rd graders about gender awareness, then they are the enemy, period. Most democrats do not want this, but every day that ticks by more will be converted to this line of thinking.
The New York State Education Department (NYSED), which is responsible for supervising all public schools in New York, said it was initially unaware of the graphic images contained within a book it promoted through one of its official social media channels. The book, titled "Gender Queer: A Memoir" has made headlines across numerous states including Virginia, Rhode Island, Texas and several others.

If the other side is people who want to teach my kids white people today should feel guilty for slavery then those people are the enemy. People who want to teach my kids that slavery was bad and a mistake that we would never repeat today are not the enemy.
Completely agree. Labeling me as “racist” because I have conservative values is to say the least not helpful as well. For many, peace means you give up your values and we can get along, keep your values and you must be silenced.

That's not how it works. Having a different worldview from someone and the direction you want the country to go does not automatically make you right and them the "enemy". And that's the same for them if they have that attitude about you.
Do you understand where this kind of rhetoric leads
May 23, 2022, 1:41 PM
When you label voters--millions and millions of American citizens--as "enemies of America" just because they don't side with you?
This is what has been fought when it comes to Trumpism. This is why he lost. This is why most of America is trying to push it out. This is the extremism Trumpism breeds: You're either on our side or you're the enemy.
This isn't the America anyone wants--even the ones who think they do.
Tidal wave of Bad Biden + Russia hoax false = Let's be nice

Perhaps America has reached a point of inflection.
For 5.5 years, Democrat operatives, crony capitalists who benefitted from Democrat policies, gov't employees / college employees / public school teachers who lived easy lives with job success that wasn't tied to the effectiveness of their job responsibility, envirnomental hoaxes, and corrupt American media devised and then propagated lies after lies after lies. All if these lies were to bash DJT and to elevate Hillary, AOC, Pocahontas, BLM, LGBTQ, etc.
Vitriol was the name of the game, and it was never ending.
For 5.5 years, Americas liberals and lefties decried the end of America due to DJT. He's in the pocket of the Russians / he cheated in the election thanks to Putin / he's racist / he hates women / he wants America to be polluted / he's mean / etc.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Now, 1.5 years after the Democrats have had a trifecta in the Gov't, the USA sees just how the Democrats want things, and what happens to America when the Democrats get what they want.
POOF: All of a sudden, the Democrats, justifiably running scared and privately embarrassed for being so gullible, are speaking as if 'we just all need to get along and not talk about these divisive things.'
WRONG: These failed policies, the lies perpetrated by the Democrats (see May 20th WSJ article re: Hillary Clinton Did It), the credulity with which America media accepted these lies from the Democrats ... this must be exposed, and done so loudly and repeatedly. America desperately needs to learn these lessons, and to be circumspect about accepting at face value anything coming from the MSM or the US gov't.
But I know during the first Civil War, we were drawn and separated a lot more neatly in both borders and ideology. The South's a lot more purple now than it used to be with people from all over the country migrating here. If a hypothetical civil war broke out again, it's not going to separate neatly into states like 1861 (which wasn't even THAT neatly if you think about it).
And then we factor in the world's greatest military in history. What's going to happen if, as you say, a state pushes back? Tries to secede?
I don't get why so many of y'all talk about this. Y'all almost sound like you want this to happen.
2. And actually decide elections. The data already shows the moderate Independents control the elections. They elected Trump in 2016. They elected Biden in 2020. I predict they remove Biden in 2024.
What harm does it really do on a message board like this? Small readership and no one ever changes their mind.
Do you think something should be done in response to those who voice support for Biden?
I guess you’re trying to goad me into some sort of civil war discussion. I’m not advocating for any of the sort, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s where things end up at some point. Then we can look back at who supported idiotic, country-destroying ideas.
No, not if that's not what you intend. Using the term "enemies of America" is pretty harsh and would seem to indicate you would want a harsh response.
Why do you think we're heading towards that, though? It would be pretty hard to know who is one whose team this time around.
Sure, you see plenty of it on the news and in protests and on message boards. But that's the problem; you're only seeing that on a micro scale without getting to see the macro.
The ordinary Americans who don't like any of the right-wing or left-wing whackadoodles want to go about with their normal lives. These Americans don't make the news because they don't bring in viewers. It's been conflated into something it's not.
Go take a poll of your neighbors. The ones who aren't on the news protesting or rioting or burning #### down or storming Capitols. Ask them if they are ready to take up arms against political opponents. I think then you'll have your answer.
What I tend to point out is when arguments against the POTUS are misplaced or untrue. I did that a heck of lot more on here in regards to Trump when he was in office. Go ask TBalm.
I can't stand when people form such strong opinions about political issues when the basis of the opinion is little more than "he's on the other team so it's his fault" mentality.
What I desire most is honest debate of ideas and policies and it's telling that all you see is me "supporting Biden".
I would vote exactly the same if election was held now. It SHOULD scare the heck out of anyone that loves this country how close many of the institutions came to failing after Trump lost the election before Biden could be sworn in.
And what no one seems to want to talk about is the reason that the Senate is in Dem control right now. That rests 100% on the head of Trump and his supporters that contributed to make the idiotic and false claim that the election was stolen from him. There is absolutely no excuse for it other than Trump, once again, putting himself above the country.
As for "coming out of the woodwork"...this is a dang message board...when are you going to understand what that means and how this all works? You seriously claim anyone that didn't vote the way you voted is an "enemy of America" and expect me not to comment on that line of "thinking"?
Re: What do you think Trump/Pubs would have done differently?
May 23, 2022, 3:52 PM
Ukraine: So, you think invaded Ukraine b/c Trump wasn't President? That's the policy difference? And how do you think Trump would have handled the situation had Putin invaded while he was President?
Gas Prices: Again, I'm not seeing any policy specifics about what Trump would have done to stop global gas prices from going up (at least in the short term). I understand the argument about Trump/being supposedly more friendly to oil companies, but I'm not seeing how that would help with global gas prices going up.
Inflation/Demand&Supply: Again, this is happening globally and I agree it's largely due to the pandemic causing global demand/supply issues. Here's a good explainer on why inflation is complicated:
but you could easily point out how Trump is at fault for
May 23, 2022, 5:24 PM
these things I bet!
Republican in the Whitehouse, everything happening is his fault Democrat in the Whitehouse, everything happening now the fault of the last Republican in there
A President that can barely read what is put in front of him, with cognitive decline (to the point of not knowing where he is at times), is the scariest position I can think of at this pivotal moment in history.
