I was about to say that. It’s relative to attendance and viewership. She made more in NIL. Which, she will now as well. Nike, Gatorade, State Farm, etc will pay her bills.

Probably more than she deserves speaking from a market point of view. WNBA revenue is non existent not to mention it's subsidized by the men's league. If she wants to complain she can always stay in college and pick up more from NIL.

That’s NOT a nurses salary. Nurses are making more than doctors right now. Covid travel dollars are still being handed out. I’m in the medical field and know many nurses making well over $300k a year. Even non-travel nurses are making six figures.

That’s more like the community college instructor that works three days a week. I also know because my best friend moonlights as a community college instructor for 3 days a week and makes around $80k here in NC. I’m trying to get an adjunct Professor moonlighting position that starts close to six figures. Educators and nurses can get paid if they do it right.

The WNBA plays half the games that the NBA plays and their players don't have the same collective bargaining agreement that NBA players have.
Also, few people watch their games or buys season tickets. Perhaps Clark and Reese boost their numbers more though.

If they will keep parading these players out there like they did at the draft as "feminine beauties" which a lot of them are, fans will flock to the sport. As it has been since inception, the WNBA has been a group of angry, tatted up, alphabet mafia types which nobody wants to watch, thus the league loses money. They have a chance to promote female sports and feminine values if they choose to do so. The promotion of tatted up pronoun freaks has not, and will never, work.
