It’s not like he was running the scout team. He was with the starters. If DJ is the man and you are going to bring in your second string when you got a comfortable lead it makes sense you practice with the players your going to run out there withZ

With that said, you would think he had gotten some reps with the first string just in case DJ got hurt.

Maybe this will be a coaching/practice habit that gets changed in the future.

Cade would have started splitting time with the first string 50/50 and maybe even just completely taken over the starting role.

Yep. Said he had barely practiced with the #1's since fall camp. Got 30% of the reps with the #1's this week.

It's obvious it was not a case of not being ready all season and then suddenly this week he became ready.

Regardless, the past is in the past. It's exciting to know Cade gets the start in Miami.

The coaches need to stop justifying the delay in playing ck. It is obvious to all that one week would not make a difference. He should have played the second half vs sc. we would have won.
