... and it will make them all better in the end. I was afraid of all the Heisman hype, all of the lofty rankings and all of the "preseason award watch lists". Afraid that they would all read it and start thinking all they have to do is show up. I am glad we have coaches that throw the mags in the trash and call them out for being slack... best quote of the week so far: "they stunk". God pity them in practice these next 3 days, and then may He have mercy on the souls of the NC State players next Thursday night, and hopefully all those that follow for the next 12 weeks. Go get em Chad!

I hope our team learned a good lesson - one they have been talking about all off season. We need to play to our standard and not up to, nor down to, an opponent. If we do this, all will work out like it's supposed to.

Connor Shaw will be the FIRST starting QB to graduate under Spurrier (unless the back up replaces him).
Look at how Clowney believed his own hype. Look at how Garcia had the wheels come off.
You have to keep these kids grounded and focused.
