one was flirting with med school, has taken MCAT and 60 hrs of shadowing. Skeered of the debt would have to incur, which is daunting
both are starting internships this summer.

It's delightful there this time of year. I would have added a deck onto it if I could have figured out a way to build with the alumni verification e-mail requests.

like my crazy neighbor did. His daughter graduated from Roanoke College with a pottery degree. Which prepares her to make pottery to sell at craft shows etc. Parents already downsized, she was using the basement den as her bedroom. So he added on a bedroom on the back of his garage. Also bought two kilns, and a trailer for her to haul her wares in, plus a lot of other stuff to start her in bidness. Then he enclosed his carport on the side of the house to move all his workshop stuff that got displaced by her "pottery studio". As soon as she got moved in to the new garage bedroom, this guy she met while he worked on the construction of the bedroom started showing up every evening and staying over until he went to work the next day.
You can't make this stuff up.

You ever wonder what if you'd given them the same name?

Think about it. You could pay one tuition, but they both go to school. Probably graduate early because they're taking 18 hours every semester but they're splitting it between the two of them, and then when it's done they have a degree with both their names on it that they can show any employer.
Brilliant, really. You should have done that.

funny thing is, both are going to same company for internship, not intentionally, just both were offered different positions at same company

The real questions are, do they have gainful employment and will they be moving back to your house?

yes.
as of now, no. If so, would have to be temporary "hey dad internship over, have job starting in 2 months and lease is up" kinda thing.
will say, eldest lived with us for about 6-8 months working from home for Siemens, was able to put 20% down on new house for he and newly married wife recently
