Not Rudy Harris. Rudy Hayes played in the 1950's/1960's.

Just from my memory, and without looking at any stats, my favorites have been:
Career 1. Chad Diehl 2. Kevin Mack 3. Emory Smith 4. Chad Jasmine 5. McFadden
Best Single Season Emory Smith - Sophomore year
Favorite Play: Emory Smith vs. Coots, 1995 edition
Go to 4:36 mark and see the prequel to Mike Williams dragging of the Coot defense https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-Nwjps7l4g

Tracy Johnson ran the ball I think he only got stopped one time for no gain. He by far was the best fullback at Clemson.

Fred Cone was our best FB ever and had a long pro career as a runner and placekicker for the Packers and Cowboys. I think Kevin Mack was second best.
The best 3 FBs on one team was 1958 with Rudy Hayes, Doug Cline, and Mike Dukes. All 3 had long pro careers as linebackers. At Clemson, they were good runners, blockers, and on defense. Cline won the Jacobs Blocking Trophy one year.

Kevin Mack def. he had a good pro career too. And just a nice unassuming guy. Had an economics class with him. Then, I would say Marvin Sims. He was a load!!

That I remember, but that doesn't mean much because I can say that I haven't really paid that much attention to the position before him.

Or, maybe Tracy Johnson.
Emory Smith, for the drag alone, gets a mention.

Tracy Johnson. I played with him. I was on scout team and would go up against him in practice. One tough dude.
