Maybe not quite as sexy as it once was?
Not to take away from Pitt's game.
But maybe some of you are right. Maybe the ACC has become something less than the marquis conference it was for so long.
And that means Clemson is something less than the scrappy-yet-under-resourced program some of you say it is.
I'm not saying I agree with that take. And it doesn't matter if I do because I'm no basketball guru.
But if the ACC really has fallen off, then going 3-4 in the first seven conference games or 3-5 in the first eight because it's hard to see Duke dropping two in a row at home ... well, that's going to come with a yawn, and a "When's the spring game again?"

I believe he was saying losing 2 home games in a row is unlikely.
Anybody else remember when Louisville was good? Dang football is better than basketball now a days in Louisville.

They were a Top ten team back in 2020. Chris Mack was coach. Covid shortened season. Haven’t recovered since.

Well there are more teams now in the ACC and I believe we have only 2 ranked teams if that says anything. We were more potent at 8 teams than we are currently.

Before the pitt game duke was ranked 7th in the nation. They will be top 15 when we play them.
I guess you are going to say a #7 ranking nationally is just average for duke and they really arent that good this year. Sounds like another hater talking about unc earlier. Lol!

Duke isn't a legit top 10-15 team, but they wouldn't have lost to Pitt without injuries. The ACC is not very good. Duke might just be the second best team in a not very good ACC though.

I don’t have the stats but it seems the ACC has faired really well against out of conference opponents this year. The ACC is a lot better than you think. Right now teams are just beating up on each other because there’s good parity outside of Notre Dame and Louisville. I still think UNC , dook, Clemson , Wake, NC State , and maybe Florida State are really good teams.

ND and WF beat Duke back-to-back at Cameron in January 2016 so it can be done.
