BCS Projections

Nov 10, 2012, 9:18 PM

National Championship- Oregon vs. Notre Dame
Orange- Florida State vs. Rutgers
Sugar- Alabama vs. Clemson/Oklahoma
Fiesta- Kansas State vs. Georgia/LSU
Rose- Nebraska vs. Stanford
.
Seem about right? Any suggestions?

you think K State loses? Otherwise no way ND passes them. Stanford could have 3 losses if Oregon beats them. Rose could choose ND? Clemson/Bama would be awesome

Yeah, I'd love to see that Sugar Bowl. And no, all three teams stay undefeated. The BCS picks ND because of their strength of schedule and Oregon after a quality win against Oregon State. That's just a guess, but it will be interesting to see who the BCS picks. And you're right about Stanford, I forgot about them playing Oregon, and I have them losing to the Ducks again in the PAC-12 championship. So in the Rose, how about Nebraska-Oklahoma? I don't think Oklahoma will get into the Sugar Bowl because more Clemson/Bama fans would travel to New Orleans, so more money.

No way ND plays for it if all 3 are undefeated. ORE vs KSU***

So impossible to know really. The old Nebraska/Oklahoma rivalry in the Rose Bowl might be a thought. K State v Nebraska is also an old rivalry (especially if K St is undefeated) There's also the whole Dabo playing Bama thing - would that matter to the Sugar Bowl? Probably not, but should be a fun next few weeks

Only way for Notre Dame to get in the National Championship game is if either K.State ,or Oregon looses.
Clemson gets at large only if they win out.Beating State next weekend does no good if we drop a 4th straight to the coots!

Clemson DEFINITELY not guaranteed at large if we win out***

With a draw like Johnny Football they could get an at large over Ga and Lsu or Florida

A two loss TAM isn't going to a BCS Bowl. They'll end up in the Cotton Bowl.

LSU has 2 losses
Ga will have 2 losses

Scar will have 2 losses.

So what you are saying is the SEC will only get 1 team in?
No way that happens. It doesn't matter if the 2nd best SEC team had 3 losses. They will get 2 teams in

1) K St. probably gets in MNC over ND if both undefeated

2) Stanford probably not in top 14 after loss to Oregon.

3) If Rutgers is Big East Champ, La Tech probably gets an auto bid for being in the top 16 and ranked ahead of a AQ champion.
