Got me thinking - anyone have any songs that are truly really good songs that you cannot listen to anymore because you’ve heard them way too many times in your life (i.e. radio station overplay pre streaming era).

I have two: Jack and Diane & You Shook Me All Night Long. Can’t do it any more.

One of the greatest rock songs ever that was almost ruined by playing in the background of too many television commercials.

It's been a while though. I might be ready to give it a try again.

American Pie
Tip Toe Through the Tulips (once was one too many times for that)
Crocodile Rock
We Will Rock You

And, the number one song that should never be heard anywhere at any time for any reason: Sandstorm.😁😁

I can’t stand American pie. I was a kid when it came out. I still think it’s boring and waaaay too long.
