He moved to America to play high school football at Benjamin Banneker Academy in College Park, Georgia. After that, he ended up at D2 school Shorter, where he played a couple of seasons.
He had offers from Miami, Auburn, Arkansas State, Clemson, NC State, Texas Tech and several others, Of course, he ultimately settled on Penn State.

Shorter College is an NFL pipeline  . I did see where Pedophile State lost 4 of their starting 5 Oline, so immediate playing time may have been a serious factor outside of any remuneration obtained for his playing services.

The point is everyone has a 30 day portal window. Schools have to be aggressive in portal recruitment and get visits and offer NIL deals. Clemson has not done either much over the last few years. Yet, other schools are going after our players. Tampering, I believe Dabo referred to tapering.

It's not unusual for these Division II portal guys to commit immediately after their first visit to a major program, and that's exactly what happened. He was scheduled to visit Clemson on the 15th. Too bad we couldn't get him on campus before Penn State did.

by the self injurious TP abstinence methodology practiced for the last *4 seasons. The pumpers can rationalize and spin this a thousand different ways but we've once again handicapped ourselves when it comes to accessing the Transfer Portal as a means for talent acquisition. The "hands off" approach in *previous seasons gave way to the perception: Clemson treats Portal like the plague (it is in a sense). The effects of this collective perception will continue to reverberate for at least another season or two.(*please don't proclaim the signing of an octogenarian 4th string grad asst QB as evidence of Clemson embracing or even effectively accessing the TP)—
