Agree with Preachin’ Tiger..SEC doesn’t want BIG in SE

so Clemson may get an invite from SEC even though state of sc is already covered as is state of fl..

but maybe we get an invite from both, if we do decide to leave ACC.

And, I personally want to stay & play Southern red-neck ball in good weather and do not want to interact with Yankees!

LOL, but true!

I don't think the SEC cares if there is more than 1 team in the state. For instance, Alabama has 2, Mississippi has 2, Tennessee has 2. Having 2 in South Carolina I don't think makes a difference.

Men at 25 play football. Men at 40 play tennis. Men at 60 play golf. Have you noticed as men get older their balls get smaller.

They told the Aggies to have a seat when it was time to add Texas too.

I think Clemson 's appeal to the SEC would be the defense of keeping the B1G out of the South

I also think they don’t counter punch to 18, I think it’s 20 at least. They will go for a knock out blow. The major question now is how the states of NC and VA are carved up, I think both leagues are eyeing those states. Here is an interesting thing, we need 8 to dissolve the acc right? And we only have 7 willing to do it. Well if the sec invited 8 (to 24) wouldn’t that solve the issue? You could secure the southeast and lock up the states of va and nc with 8. Fsu clem Miami unc ncst uva vt and 1 more, I’m not sure who. Or you go to 20 but what’s the combo? I gotta think they want 1 from va and 1 from nc if they go to 20, but that leaves 1 of fsu clem and Miami out.

football fan in the state watches Scar football and nothing else. That is superficial and artificial in my opinion.

That's like saying ND has the biggest audience across America because they have the most fans. That also is superficial and ignores the fact that ND plays other very popular teams and the fans of ND's opponent watch ND only to see them lose and only when they are playing the fans' favorite team.

Most fans lose perspective when speculating which conference wants which teams.

Clemson has credentials, we are a regular in the top ten and have been over the past 10+ years. Our team's accomplishments are the envy of everyone in the SEC and B1G other than a Bama's and UGA's.

We bring additional SOS to any conference we choose to join. Even the SEC would delight in having Clemson to boost its SOS. Being 3-1 against the B1G's latest NC winner would more than elate that conference.

I agree, my preference is to limit travel and be part of the SEC which is the better football conference at this time. We'd finally get the credit and might actually be awarded the...
