Alabama struggled against a mediocre auburn and a middling second tier team from florida and got beat by 2 scores at home. Ga had a marshmallow schedule.
Struggled against bad so car and ga tech teams and couldn't even win their conference.

Neither pass the eye test.

1. Mich
2. Wash
3. FSU
4. Tex

My thoughts as well (although I would argue Washington at 1). I think having FSU at 4 heading into yesterday was huge. I just don't see them dropping two spots after a win (ugly as it was).

And on the ESPN shows... But ratings matter.

ESPN would choose Alabama 10 times out of 10 bc people turn on the TV for that. A michigan-alabama matchup is good for money... Texas is good money too.

CBS and then March madness committee setup for TV every year and that has to be a consideration that goes unspoken . I'd love to know if ever enters the talks.
