I think you guys have a great qb in Boyd, but to say he schools Murray is a bit of a stretch. I think you guys have a talented team, but there is a marked difference in playing an SEC schedule week in and week out, and certainly a different level of competition. You guys beat an LSU team that really wasn't excited to be playing in the Peach bowl, and certainly not the level of the UGA team that you will face on 8/31. I will give you your props on the talent you guys have, I just don't think it's going to be quite enough against what will most likely be the most prolific offense in UGA history. Look forward to the game though!

UGA played three good teams last year. They won one when UF had five or six turnovers. The Bama game was closebecause UA tried to give the game away(blocked FG for TD, int after getting to the one, missing fake punt because of flag, giving up fake punt). Georgia only had one good drive in that game.

You're a Georgia fan, and you want to talk about strength of schedule after the last two years of the free ride y'all have gotten? Really?
Thanks for the laugh with my coffee.

With the free ride they've gotten in the SEC, their schedule was still rated tougher than Clemson's. Thanks for the laugh.

Look at the strength of schedules from last year. You don't even have to take expert opinions on it. Georgia's toughest games "had and extremely easy schedule and played Florida and Carolina" Clemson toughest games "had and every year typical ACC schedule played FSU and Carolina. Even one of Georgia's easiest schedules ever is still tougher than Clemsons. Ever wonder why you don't get respect. How Clemson doesn't go undefeated every year is beyond me.

"an LSU team that really wasnt excited to be playing in the Peach Bowl." Y'all go ahead and keep thinking that, but that is the least likely excuse ever... Tell me, did you ever as a competitive athlete lay down and not give it your all? I, for one, know that no matter the game, the venue, location, team, etc., I gave 110% each and every time. Every one WANTS to win! Competitive nature is what makes humans! Keep believing that is the only reason we beat LSU. Then, go back and watch the tape of the 4th qtr and see a team that was physically exhausted, beaten, and drug around the field. I will give you the terrible play calling by Les towards the end (he has always been questioned for his play calling, sometimes it works, others its doesnt, but the majority of the time the "mad hatter" comes out on top), but outside of that Clemson dominated LSU in the trenches and their guys were faking injuries and all to slow the pace of the game down.
That being said, I dont discount Aaron Murray and the Bulldgos at all. Murray is an outstanding quarterback, and you have 2 profilic young backs that are studs. Yall have a good balance of rush and pass. To be honest, I think we will be fine at the RB position, however, losing AE may take us a step back.
Its going to be a great game. I think the difference maker is that this will be our 2nd year under Venables scheme, and our D will be much improved. We are finally returning some players from injury in our depleted secondary, have depth on the D-Line, and a rotation of LB'ers that are all studs. UGA will present a challenge, but in Death Valley under the lights against arguably our 2nd most hated opponent, y'all will walk out w ur tails between your legs!

conference is the toughest to ever play the sport...but the rest of the nation and, most importantly, Clemson isn't fooled. You guys just simply don't get it. I guess Texas A&M developed that SEC speed over night and/or Alabama took that game off too huh? I'm guessing you think Auburn's actually good but has taken the last few years off? And yes, after all the smack talk between LSU and Clemson and who is the real Death Valley, I guess neither team really had any interest in dishing it out. Yeah that's right, Clemson didn't really want to be there either...we just kinda cruised to a win...lol
I guess we all can just now assume that whenever an SEC team loses...they simply have "taken the game off." That is, by far, the biggest load of bull#### I've ever heard.

To usuck game since it is in conference? U see, people will make execues and no one can take away from us beaten lsu .. Like dabo said : " we are the door of greatness.... And tonight they have decided to go in..."
We have a team that learned how to win and are back with depth, experience, nastiness .. It will be a grate game and when clemson takes out Uga , u are looking at the team that will unseed bama .. Just like we did to uburn after 17 wins ..

So is the rest of the SEC. If I could spend the money they do I could buy a few crystal balls as well.
Cheering for you conference eh? Please. You have Bama. Sometimes LSU, and sometimes Florida. Auburn was a total fluke, and Jawjuh is just a stepping stone Saban uses to get to the title game.
Really, it's pointless. Waving the conference flag is just like saying your old rusty POS Chevy Malibu is a faster and better performance car than my Lamborghini because the Malibu is built by the same company that produces the Corvette ZR-1.

But yet I see countless posts of on here wanting other ACC teams to beat the SEC when they play against them. It's acceptable when the ACC does it. Are you really this mad that you play in a basketball conference and still can't do good? By the way, raging when yall beat Auburn acting like it was a big deal was cute "el oh el".

Murray is a good QB, but he has had the benefit of a great OL to help his performance. TB has done it without a stellar OL in front of him. I even would say in spite of them being poor, and I am not including Dalton Freeman in my snub of the OL. He has been the rock in our line his whole career.

He has one more ring than your twerp has.
It should be comical watching Sammy and company break in on your scrub D. Ugay doesnt have near the talent LSU had and were dropping like flies.
How many more Top 5 classes will you need before you win SOMETHING?

so Boyd has a ACC championship. outside of beating Vtech twice to achieve that.......what else has he won? Murray/Boyd's track records are very simlar. Murray has back to back SEC east titles and those are a lot tougher to come by than ACC titles.

We have QBs and WRs that can simulate their offense. They are chit out of luck trying to mimic ours.

this will be boyds 3rd year in the system, which means he will understand the keys and know when to check down, etc., without even thinking about it. with 15 practices in the spring, plus fall camp, a lot of which will be trying to replace most of the starters on the defense, uga still won't be able to prepare for our o, at least with the speed at which we are able to run it.

now apply that logic to Aaron Murray. 5th yr senior and 4 year starter in Richt's system. Also not having to worry about replacing 35 tds in his offense like Boyd. more than likely Cu's offense will be a tad rusty with all your new position players. Ga's....not so much.

Your failure, however, is thinking we're replacing those 35 TDs with rookies who have no experience. Hate to break it to you, but....uh uh. I have complete confidence in Rod McDowell. He'll ease the pain of saying good bye to Andre Ellington. We still have Sammy (who takes over Nuk's position, btw) and we have Peake, Bryant and Humphries, all of whom have a whole bunch of experience.
The worst news for y'all is our OL will be considerably better. Our D will be waaaay more solid. This Clemson team will be the best we've seen since the late '80s.

clemson has plenty of talent but there is "limited " experience. UGA may be replacing seven on defense but we also can make the same argument....we aren't replacing every position with rookies. Morris must also replace a key position player in the ol....your center. The statement that your "D" will be waaaay more solid is just pure speculation at this time.....as it is for most teams not named Alabama.

and hall, meeks and brewer in the secondary. mg will be the biggest shoes to fill, with the loss of our dback's being addition by subtraction. look at the games we lost last year, and look at what we gave up through the air. our corners were unhealthy for the majority of the year, so (hopefully) we'll be starting out against uga with 2 healthy corners (peters, breeland, etc.) and blanks as 1 of the starting safeties. jones, a transfer lb from oklahoma, will be on the field, and he will make an instant impact, from all accounts. tavaris barnes will fill mg's shoes nicely. standing 6-4 and 270,he is a force.everyone else returns. what y'all got?

What about all the other teams on your beefy $EC schedule??
Y'all have been talking about how tough your schedule is, yet why would an esteemed, experienced winner such as Mark Richt put 7 months of preparation into a puny ACC school like us?
In all reality, your players will have 8 days of practice prep for our game...or else it'd be funny to watch how the mighty SEC East champion changes their entire off season preparation for the puny school up 85.
Both teams are legit man...both QBs are pretty dahm good. Saturday night will be Clemson v Georgia, no other SEC team will be there to help you.

fact is Grantham will have more than the usual 5 days to prepare. we don't see the triple-option very often either but we seem to handle it pretty well every year vs. GT. Morris' offense is nothing new...no one on our staff is scratching their heads trying to figure it out.

Clemson. They do not have a QB that can pick apart a D like Tajh. I realize they beat us the season before last, but our secondary was very young and just as bad as last seasons. Also they were 8-0 prior to losing to GT and according to our team, they were a little too sure of themselves heading into the game. All I've heard them say is they have learned from that mistake and that is very promising.
Our team will look more of the part of Auburn a few years ago. There may be an instance or two where we may have to come back from behind...but our team has no problem finding ways of putting up points on the board. I've never seen a Clemson team battle so hard for 4 quarters.
With Sammy and Bryant on the field, both sub 4.3 40 guys, your secondary will be put to the test. Someone will always be open in our offense...and when they are not or Tajh can't find them, Tajh will pick up the yardage with his feet.
This will be a great game. But I'd be willing to bet the crowd noise will be a factor for Murray. Many Clemson fans have not forgotten how heated this rivalry can be...they will be out in force...

It will be all about the pressure our DL can apply. Georgia's OL is MASSIVE but if you can find a way to get in the backfield on a regular basis Murray can get shaky. If you don't, he'll carve you up like surgeon.

know what happens when he's not comfortable in the pocket. look at big games for uga, and you see a qb that is a little shellshocked. he played a decent psuedo home game against bama, who was content on stopping the running attack and making a.m. try to beat them.

Can't the same be said for Tajh? He's been pretty rattled vs. SC and hasn't performed well...

Murray has never in his life seen that kind of a beating and continued to play at a high level. Also check every big game Murray has played in and more times then not he folds under pressure.

With all of your new guys on D (not sure how many but I believe it's at lease 6?) it's not a strategy thing. Our goal is to run 90+ plays a game...30+ more than your starters last year would be used to and 90+ more than your guys now are used to.
And don't compare us to the yellow faggots...they won't have a first or second day offensive draft pick in probably 3 more years. We have three starting receivers running under 4.4's. So from a personnel standpoint, were just as talented as anyone you will face all year.
It's going to be a good game, can't wait for August
