Before Clemson: Played football and baseball at Daniel High School in Central, S.C. … captain of 2020 3A state title team under coach Jeff Fruster … named South Carolina 3A Offensive Back of the Year and collected All-State and All-Region honors … played quarterback and wide receiver, recording 787 career passing yards and nine passing touchdowns, 67 career receptions for 852 yards and 12 touchdowns, and 250 career rushing yards with five touchdowns.
