4-star 2018 linebacker Jake Venables from Central, South Carolina has been offered by LSU on Wednesday according to multiple reports.
Venables chose Clemson over Northwestern, SMU, and Texas Tech. As a junior, he had 100 tackles including 16 tackles for loss and 10 sacks. In 2015, he had 89 tackles including eight tackles for loss and six sacks. He is the son of Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables. Clemson already has 2018 commitments from 5-star quarterback Trevor Lawrence, athlete Derion Kendrick, defensive tackle Josh Belk, linebacker Mike Jones Jr., and Venables.
