Clemson 2016 running back commit Tavien Feaster has been named a semifinalist for the US Army Player of the Year Award on Tuesday.
Feaster has 124 carries for 976 yards (7.9 average) and nine touchdowns on the ground and 45 receptions for 747 yards (16.6 average) and nine touchdowns receiving in 2015. As a junior on the gridiron, Feaster had 133 carries for 1153 yards and fifteen touchdowns and 45 receptions for 1016 yds and eleven touchdowns despite having an injured shoulder for most of the year. In the 2014 state title game, he rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. He also had five receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown and a 44-yard interception return. He was the state champion in the 100-meter dash (10.59) and 200 (21.29).
