Former Clemson receiver Trevion Thompson was waived by the Los Angeles Chargers this week.

Thompson cleared waivers and was placed on the Chargers' injured reserve list with an undisclosed injury.

Thompson was known for his versatility in a reserve role for the Tigers, tallying 53 catches for 506 yards and two scores over 56 games.

The former four-star prospect had a standout Clemson Pro Day to catch the eye of some scouts.
