Clemson OL likely out for the season

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney held his weekly press conference Tuesday and shared that redshirt freshman offensive lineman Noah Dhond is likely out for the season with a nerve injury.

"We're in a good spot team-wise, but as y'all know, crazy things can happen...We're in a really good spot," Swinney said. "The biggest issue I have is Noah Dehond. Noah has been out a little while. He's had a little nerve thing. They've done a couple nerve blocks and it hasn't helped. He's probably gonna be done for the season because they're probably going to have to do surgery on him. That's probably our biggest issue. He was a guy we were hopeful he could step forward.

Swinney knows he is a young player and has a very bright future ahead of him.

"He's just a redshirt freshman and he's got a lot of football down the road," he said. "Hopefully - and I guess with the new rule, he can get this year back...He's a guy has a lot of football in front of him. I was looking forward to getting some experience for him this year. He's a mountain of a man. We've got to get him healthy."

He is one of the tallest football recruits ever signed by Clemson.
