Four-star 2019 defensive tackle target Tyler Davis (Apopka, Fla.) set a commitment date and time of Dec. 19 at his high school on Dec. 19 at 8:15 a.m.

Davis is rated as high as a top-100 prospect (60) and the No. 7 defensive tackle in the nation. Davis included Clemson in a top-four with Florida State, Ohio State and Miami in September.

The Wekiva High School (Fla.) product was named the class 8A defensive player of the year and first-team All-State last season and picked up defensive line MVP honors in ‘Opening’ regionals this offseason.

Davis posted 14 tackles for loss, six sacks and an interception with 34 total stops, as well as a TD reception going into the high school playoffs.

Davis last visited Clemson in late September and attended Clemson camp in June.
