The #15 Clemson Tigers (8-2,5-2) play host to Atlantic Division rival #18 Boston
College (8-2, 4-2) in a battle for the right to play in the Atlantic Coast
Conference Championship Game.
The Clemson offense comes into this game on fire, scoring at will against their
past four opponents. Boston College on the other hand, has quickly spiraled from
their #2 ranked after dropping two straight games. Heisman hopeful Matt Ryan,
has not played well down the stretch and the Tiger defense hopes to continue
that streak.
This weekends contest could be considered the most important game in the
history of Death Valley. A Clemson Tiger victory this Saturday could usher in a
new era of championships. With the expansion of the ACC, Clemson has an
opportunity to become the team to beat on their side of the conference and
potentially play in multiple championship games in the future.
I fully expect the Tigers to be focused and prepared for this game, but it’s
going to take more than just the team to get it done. In many fans minds, a
loss would be unacceptable given the match-up is being held at home, in the
friendly confines of Memorial Stadium. If that is your belief, then it’s time
for you to do some delivering of your own. This is the game that our fans
remind the nation our stadium is the real “Death Valley”!
Too many Tiger fans have had their hearts broken by untimely losses over the
years. The glory days of the 80’s are only memories. It’s time for that to
change, it’s time for the glory days to return. This is the Clemson Tiger
team that will deliver us to the ACC championship game. Be loud this Saturday,
it’s OUR time!
The #20 Clemson Tigers (7-2,4-2) face off against Wake Forest (6-3,4-2) in a
game that will help decided the ACC Atlantic Division. If the Tigers can come
out of this gridiron battle with a victory, the stage will be set for Death
Valley to host its biggest game in nearly 20 years.
A Tiger win would force a winner-take-all match-up against the eighth ranked
Boston College Eagles next weekend. A Clemson Tiger loss would force Clemson
fans to further question the consistency of our program. Will this be another
season that ends with "coulda' woulda' shoulda's" or will a new era of ACC
success begin?
This is our time to show the college football world that we are back. This is
our chance to take hold of an opportunity that has slipped through our fingers
one too many times. This game is the reason we eat, sleep, and talk football
year round. Get off of your hands this week and make some noise! You owe it to
yourself to enjoy this one, but more importantly, you owe it to this team.
When many fans left their side, THEY PUSHED FORWARD. When many fans doubted
them, THEY BELIEVED. When many fans hoped, THEY DELIVERED!
Be there, be loud, be proud, wear orange, and get on your feet!
#24 Clemson (6-2, 3-2) takes on Duke (1-7, 0-5) in an ACC battle that could
decide Clemson's bowl fate. The Tigers travel to Duke after a huge road win at
Maryland last week.
The Tigers have four huge games remaining and look to close out a great season.
If they can win all four it would be a special season, but lose all four and
Tiger fans will be calling for changes.
Will another Tommy Bowden coached team lose to a team that they should beat?
Will Clemson's struggles at Wallace-Wade Stadium continue?
Can the Clemson Tigers work their way into a BCS bowl game with or without
winning the ACC Championship?
